We spent some time at The Rann Wartha, they offer drinks and are within walking distance of the apartment. In fact, the property was really close to Heligan as well as shops.
No issues. It met expectations.

This was our first trip to Cornwall and we were taken aback by the amazing coastline and beautiful villages. We walked for miles and coming back to the Deluxe Pirate's Cove Themed Apartment was a welcome sight. The owners have thought about every little detail to make our stay feel like home from home. I had a fantastic stay at the Deluxe Pirate's Cove Themed Apartment. I was in St Austell for work and leisure, and this apartment was the perfect base for exploring the area. It was centrally located, with a short walk to the train station and a grocery store nearby. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for my 4-night stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower had hot water with fluffy towels provided. I also loved the amenities like Netflix, color changing candles, and the well-equipped kitchen. The little gifts upon arrival were a nice touch. one of the best apartments I've ever stayed in!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough!
